Job summary

General Energy Management Systems P. Ltd. in Pune seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer with 3–10 years of oil & gas equipment design experience. You will design pressure vessels, heat exchangers, compressors packages, and piping spools, ensuring compliance with codes and customer specs.

You will review drawings, calculations, and prepare design inputs, with attention to detail and strong communication with customers. Proficiency in PV-Elite, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–10 years of experience in oil & gas equipment design.
• Strong knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Experience with PV-Elite, AutoCAD, SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Designing Equipment such Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Compressors Packages, Piping Spool, Oil and Water consoles.

• Logging DCR (Design Change Record) for any changes in input documents/comments received from customers/suppliers.
