Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Engineering Consultant role based in Bengaluru South. The Engineering Consultant will work closely with customers to understand their engineering, CAD/CAM/CAE, and PLM requirements and recommend suitable solutions from the Conceptia portfolio. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting technical assessments, preparing and delivering product demonstrations, supporting solution implementation, and providing training and guidance to customer engineering teams. The role also involves collaborating with internal sales and support teams, participating in project planning and execution, and ensuring high-quality, timely delivery of consulting services. The Engineering Consultant will maintain detailed documentation, help resolve technical issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of methodologies and best practices.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in CAD/CAE/PLM tools, with hands-on experience in platforms such as SolidWorks, SolidWorks Simulation, and related engineering software.
• Candidates should possess solid engineering fundamentals, including mechanical or product design knowledge, tolerance analysis, and an understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Candidates should possess customer-facing consulting skills, including requirements gathering, solution presentation, stakeholder communication, and technical training capabilities.
• Candidates should possess project execution skills, such as planning, documentation, problem-solving, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
• Candidates should possess strong analytical and technical troubleshooting abilities, with the capacity to diagnose and resolve complex engineering and software issues.
• Relevant bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
• Prior experience in engineering consulting, CAD implementation, or technical support in a software or engineering services environment is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru South, manage multiple customer engagements, and adapt to evolving technologies and industry standards.
