Job description

Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer with a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Mechatronics/Industrial Engineering or equivalent. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4-6 years of experience in either a consulting engineering firm or an operating engineering environment, with a strong knowledge of Factory Automation, Special Purpose Machines (SPMs), and Robotics Applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Evolve, develop, and implement the most suitable robotic solutions for the manufacturing industry.
• Design using 3D software such as SolidWorks, Catia V5, NX, Inventor, and Creo.
• Utilize simulation software like Robot Studio and Robcad to enhance design processes.
• Implement and manage Product Data Management (PDM) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software such as Windchill, Autodesk Vault, and EPDM.
• Collaborate with teams in Robotics Automation, Automotive, and General Industries.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Mechatronics/Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• 4-6 years of relevant experience in consulting engineering or operating engineering environments.
• Strong knowledge of Factory Automation, SPMs, and Robotics Applications.
• Proficiency in 3D design software: SolidWorks, Catia V5, NX, Inventor, Creo.
• Experience with simulation software such as Robot Studio and Robcad is a plus.
• Familiarity with PDM/PLM software like Windchill, Autodesk Vault, and EPDM.
• Exposure to Robotics Automation and the Automotive industry is advantageous.
