Job summary

MSC Transformers Pvt Ltd in Pune district, Maharashtra, is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to create 2D/3D drawings and detailed manufacturing designs for transformers and components.

You will prepare BOMs, use SAP for BOM and production processes, read technical specs, ensure designs are manufacturable, and coordinate with production and quality teams to deliver accurate records.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
• 3–5 years of experience in AutoCAD and SolidWorks design, preferably in transformer industry.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks for 2D/3D modelling and drafting.
• Experience in transformer tank, structural, sheet-metal, and component design.
• Knowledge of SAP for BOM, material, production, and engineering-related activities.
• Knowledge of BOM preparation, GD&T, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Good understanding of fabrication and production requirements.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and coordination with engineering and production teams.
• Knowledge of transformer industry standards is an added advantage.
