Job summary

Berger Paints is seeking a Production Head to lead the Production Department, plan monthly/weekly/daily output, and coordinate with Purchase and Stores for timely materials. The role requires managing manpower across shifts and ensuring clean, efficient operations.

You will be responsible for meeting monthly production targets, maintaining equipment, and ensuring accurate MIS reporting and record keeping. Training the team for cost-effective utilization will also be part of the remit.

Qualifications

• Lead the Production Department.
• Prepare monthly production plans aligned to marketing needs.
• Prepare weekly and daily production schedules.
• Coordinate with Purchase and Stores for timely RM/PM supplies.
• Maintain process and filling machinery for clean operation.
• Manage manpower across shifts.
• Communicate next-day production plans the previous day.
• Achieve monthly production targets.
• Maintain good housekeeping on floors.
• Maintain batch cycle times per standard.
• Manage yield.
• Prepare and submit MIS reports on time.
• Maintain production records.
• Train staff for cost-effective production.
