Job summary

Adani Power Limited in Raipur is seeking an experienced Inventory and Store Management professional to oversee inventory control, scrap and liquidation of NMI, and SAP-based records. The role covers ensuring accurate stock levels, processing material issues, and maintaining documentation for audits.

The candidate should have 4+ years in stores and inventory, with hands-on SAP MM/SD experience for waste and scrap management.

Qualifications

• More than 4 years of experience in managing stores, inventory management and scrap management.
• Experience of working with SAP - Material Management Module/ SAP Material Master, SD module for waste and scrap management.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementation of standard systems/templates/processes for inventory management.
• Track the availability of different materials/products and manage inventory levels at the warehouse/stores.
• Assist in executing the process for material issue to the user and timely updating inventory level after issue of goods.
• Maintain accurate records in SAP (documents and other details of material issues, material procured, etc.).
• Forward the invoices and supporting documents to Head accounts (HAC) through Document Control Cell.
• Assist in resolving discrepancies pertaining to inventory based on electronic records that represent inventory and physical state.
• Assist in evaluating shelf life of the inventory and classify based on criticality and ageing (SMI/NMI/Normal Spares).
• Assist in identification and liquidation of non-moving inventory (NMI).
• Execute asset liquidation and other material including NMIs to be scrapped as per directive of Head- Stores.
• Implement asset scrapping or asset write-off basis DoA.

• Assist in implementation of standard systems/templates/ processes for inventory management

• Assist in evaluating shelf life of the inventory for the assigned store category and help classify based on criticality [like Vital Essential Desirable] and ageing (such as slow-moving inventory (SMI) / Non-moving inventory (NMI) / Normal Spares)
• Assist in identification and liquidation of non-moving inventory (NMI)
• Execute asset liquidation (identified by concerned user) and other material including NMIs to be scrapped as per the directive of Head- Stores
• Implement asset scrapping or asset write-off basis DoA
