Job summary

Eaton in Maharashtra, India, is seeking an experienced engineer to drive SSA evaluation and closure, resolve supplier technical issues, and act as the divisional SPOC for SSA across sites. You will monitor QMS KPIs, lead operational reviews, and scale continuous improvement and digital initiatives across multiple sites.

The role requires extensive experience in supplier audits and quality management, with a strong background in manufacturing and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in relevant engineering fields with supplier quality focus.
• 8–10 years in manufacturing, supplier quality, supplier development and supplier audits.
• At least 4 years of experience in supplier process audits and internal audits.

Responsibilities

• Assist SSA queries, review SSA forms, kick off supplier meetings and evaluate SSA questionnaires.
• Ensure corrective actions are implemented and verified with supplier evidence.
• Maintain SSA documentation per Eaton QMS procedures.
• Coordinate with Commodity Managers, Buyers, SDEs, and SQEs to resolve SSA requirements.
• Lead Level-2 improvement projects to enhance operational effectiveness.
• Act as SPOC for multiple sites / Division and lead the customer review meeting.
• Support SSA training for suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Assist QMS initiatives and change management for the process.

"1.Assist on queries related to SSA request, review SSA request form, kick off meeting with suppliers, evaluate SSA questionnaires submitted by suppliers, identify gaps, risk and opportunities in supplier process by validating objective evidences received from suppliers.

• Ensure corrective actions are implemented and verified through supplier provided evidence.
• Maintain SSA documentation in compliance with Eaton QMS procedures.
• Coordinate with Commodity Managers, Buyers, SDEs, and SQEs to clarify requirements and resolve issues related to specific SSA
• Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lead Level-2 projects to enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency
• Clear understanding upon customer requirements to deliver the solutions
• Act as SPOC for multiple sites /Division and lead the customer review meeting
• Support to drive SSA training for suppliers & Internal stakeholders
• Assist QMS initiatives and change management for the process "

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree (BE/B.Tech)/ Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics/Automotive/Production/Industrial

• Minimum 4 years of Experience in Supplier process audits, Internal audits.

Skills

• Internal auditor certification ( ISO, IATF, AS)
