Job summary

Lektus Infrastructure in Pune is seeking a Civil/Transportation professional to contribute to detailed design of roads and highways. You will work on alignment, cross-sections, 2D/3D roundabouts, junctions and interchanges, and prepare engineering drawings per standards.

The role requires 2-5 years of highway design experience, proficiency with road design codes, and hands-on use of Micro-Station, InRoads, Civil3D and related Autodesk tools. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in Detail Design of Roads & Highway projects from Europe /USA / Asia.
• Minimum 2 - 5 years working experience in design of Highways /Motorways/ Drainage system for Highways.
• Sound Knowledge of Geometric Design of roads.
• Proficiency with design codes like AASHTO / IRC/ MUTCD / TxDOT standards or other international codes would be desirable.

Responsibilities

• Participation in detailed design activities for Roads & Highway projects including alignment & profile design, typical cross-sections, surface preparation and corridor modelling.
• Preparation of 2D and 3D roundabouts, priority/junction designs, signalised junctions and interchanges.
• Preparation of engineering drawings and documents such as design criteria and quantity calculations.
• QA/QC of 3D models and drawings to ensure standards compliance.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver integrated design and assist senior engineer with technical guidance.

Role & responsibilities

• Participation in the detailed design activities for Roads & Highway projects including Alignment & profile design, preparation of typical cross-sections, surface preparation, corridor modelling etc.
• Preparation of concept and detailed design of 2D and 3D Roundabouts, priority junctions, signalized junctions, interchanges, Cycle Tracks.
• Preparation of engineering drawings related to projects as per regional standards.
• Preparation of engineering documents such as design criteria, technical memoranda, quantity calculations.
• Interacting & coordinating with team members to produce integrated design.
• Assist senior engineer with providing technical assistance
• Perform quality control (QA/QC) of 3D models and drawings to ensure compliance with standards.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience in Detail Design of Roads & Highway projects from Europe /USA / Asia.

• Knowledge of Design codes like AASHTO / IRC/ MUTCD / TxDOT standards, Specifications, guidelines any other international codes would be desirable.
• Should have work experience for Highway design & modelling, junction design, Bicycle & walkway design.
• Proficiency in Micro-Station, In Roads, Open Roads, and or similar design software.
• Experience in AutoCAD/Autodesk Civil3D and their suite of packages.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficiency in both written and oral communication.
• Collaborative skills with Clients, Stakeholders, Project Management and Design Teams
