Job summary

SECON in Bengaluru seeks a seasoned Highway/Rail Geometrics Specialist to analyze field data, plan design and detailing for intersections and interchanges, and oversee project deliverables.

The candidate should hold a postgraduate degree in Highway/Transportation/Structural Engineering and have at least 10 years of experience in planning, preparation and design of highway projects, rail lines, yards and related structures, with proficiency in Bentley/Trimble design software.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree in Highway Engineering or related field with strong academic record.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in planning, preparation and design of highway projects and rail-related works.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing field data, planning design and detailing for intersections and interchanges and other road/rail geometrics features.
• Proficiency in design software (Bentley/Trimble/others) and related tools and models.
• Preparation of plans, profiles, assemblies and corridors.
• Oversees management, maintenance and quality assurance of deliverables.
• Promotes innovative ideas in data collection, engineering survey and production of deliverables.
• Client management, proposal writing, report writing and project management.

Role & responsibilities

Preferred candidate profile

• Post Graduate (full time regular course) in Highway Engineering/ Railway Engineering/ Transportation Engineering/ Structural Engineering having Consistent Academic Performance of 6 CGPA
• Minimum 10 years experience in Planning, Preparation and Design of Highway Projects, Rail Lines, Yards and related structures.
