Job summary

Saptagon Asia Pvt ltd is seeking a Highway Design Engineer to develop and finalize highway geometric designs in line with IRC and MoRTH standards. The role focuses on horizontal and vertical alignments, corridor modeling, and ensuring accurate plan and cross-section drawings for timely project delivery.

The candidate will perform earthwork calculations, design superelevation and intersections, and coordinate with pavement, drainage, structures, survey, and utility teams to support tenders, DPRs,

Qualifications

• Experience in highway geometric design following IRC and MoRTH guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare highway geometric designs in accordance with IRC and MoRTH standards.
• Design horizontal and vertical alignments for highways and expressways.
• Develop roadway profiles, cross-sections, and corridor models.
• Design superelevation, widening, transitions, and intersections.
• Prepare plan, profile, and typical cross-section drawings.
• Perform quantity calculations and earthwork estimations.
• Coordinate with pavement, drainage, structures, survey, and utility teams.
• Review survey data and incorporate design modifications.
• Ensure timely delivery of design drawings and project documentation.
• Support tender, DPR, and detailed engineering projects.
