Job summary

V-Guard in Ghaziabad is seeking an experienced engineer for DFA/DFM analysis and mould/tool design review. You will manage suppliers, CAPEX for moulds and tooling, and drive cost optimization across modular switch products.

Responsibilities include maintenance of moulds/tools, documentation, vendor base development for prototyping, and data management in PLM systems. A hands-on background in process engineering and tool room operations is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing/manufacturing of moulds, press tools, jigs and fixtures.
• Knowledge of DFA/DFM analysis and cost optimization.
• Hands-on with tool room machines and mould maintenance.
• Familiarity with injection moulding, stamping and related processes.

Preferred candidate profile

• Knowledge on designing/manufacturing of Moulds, Press tool, Jigs & Fixture
• Knowledge about, AutoCAD & Creo.
• DFA/DFM analysis.
• Should have knowledge of Tool steel and specifications.
• Knowledge of processes like, moulding, stamping, printing, packaging, assembly, testing, painting, cubic printing etc.
• Complete knowledge of modular switch product range/s
• Handling of multiple vendors (inclusive of tier 1 and tier 2)
• Well- versed with Tool Room machines & its processes.
• Hands on experience on Injection mould maintenance & manufacturing.
• Knowledge of various inspection instruments and methods.
• Plan & implement existing plastic injection mould repairing and modification process.

• Value engineering principles for cost outs and product improvements.
