Job summary

Visteon in Chennai seeks a Warranty/Quality engineer to apply 8D problem solving, core quality tools, and PCB schematic reading to analyze warranty issues. The role requires engagement with dealers and cross-functional teams.

You will support Mahindra-specific customer handling requirements and utilize MS Office for reporting and documentation. BE Electronics or BE Mechatronics preferred. Experience in SMT quality issues is a plus.

Desired candidate

• Will have Knowledge on 8D, Other Problem-Solving tools , Core tools (CP, PFMEA, MSA & SPC)
• Basic knowledge in electronic parts / Quality issues in SMT process
• Ability to read the Schematic Diagrams of PCBs
• Warranty Return Analysis / Dealer management
• Exposure to Customer Handling process (Specific to Mahindra requirements)
• Working Knowledge in MS office

• BE Electronics or BE Mechatronics
• Work Exp: 4- 7 of relevant experience (Warranty)
