Job summary

PeopleStrong Hazira is seeking a Diploma or Graduate mechanical engineer with 5-6 years of quality control and inspection experience. The role covers fabrication, casting and forging component inspection, including UT and MPI, and dimensional checks of castings with machining allowances.

Knowledge of ASME Sec 9, WPS and PQR, and ASNT Level II certification in NDT (VT/UT/MT/RT/PT) is required. Prepare QAP/MPP and inspection checklists; willingness to travel India-wide and work well in a team.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with min 5 years' QC experience.
• Quality control and inspection of fabrication components; casting and forging.
• Hands-on in UT & MPI inspection and dimensional inspection of castings.
• Knowledge of ASME Sec 9, WPS and PQR; ASNT Level II in NDT VT/UT/MT/RT/PT.
• Able to prepare QAP, MPP and inspection checklists; willing to travel India-wide.
• Good communication and team work.

Responsibilities

• Inspect fabrication, casting and forging components for dimensional accuracy.
• Perform UT and MPI inspections on castings; verify machining allowances.
• Ensure compliance with ASME Sec 9, WPS, PQR; support QAP/MPP prep.
• Travel to vendor sites across India for inspections and quality assurance.
