Job summary

Phoenix Incorporated in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, is seeking an Engineer – QA / QC to lead quality control across construction projects. You will communicate QA/QC policies, conduct tests at several project stages, and ensure adherence to quality guidelines across all functional areas at the site.

The role requires 2–5 years of QA/QC experience in retail/real estate, a BE/B.Tech or Diploma in Civil/Mechanical, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Quality Systems to drive compliance and continuous

Qualifications

• Graduate (B.E/B.Tech) or Diploma in Civil/Mechanical Engineering.
• Post Graduate Diploma in Quality Systems.
• 2–5 years of experience in retail/real estate with at least 2 years in QA/QC.

Responsibilities

• Communicate Quality Control and Assurance policies to internal teams and contractors.
• Prepare quality check lists and consolidate into the quality management plan.
• Conduct quality testing at various project phases and report progress.
• Manage laboratory testing of incoming material and analyze test results.
• Conduct periodic quality audits and submit findings for corrective action.
• Prepare daily progress reports tracking QA/QC activities on site.

Minimum Qualification

• 2-5 years of experience in retail/ real estate industry with atleast 2 years in the QC and QA

• Comprehensive knowledge of quality management systems as applicable to the Real Estate / Construction Industry

Overall Purpose/Objective

Responsible for communication of quality control and assurance policy/ procedures, quality testing at various phases of project and ensuring adherence to quality guidelines / procedures across all functional areas within the project site

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake effective communication of the Quality Control and Assurance Policy to internal teams and well as contractors and vendors involved
• Assist the AGM – QA / QC in preparing quality check lists on every area or activity and consolidating it to include in the quality management plan
• Undertake quality testing at various phases of project execution and thus report the progress of projects regularly and prepare non-conformance reports
• Support the AGM – QA / QC in establishing testing procedures for various kinds of material based on ISO guidelines and manage laboratory testing of all incoming material and also analyze the test results
• Conduct periodic Quality audits to ensure adherence to the defined quality processes across the various functional areas within the project and analyze its findings and submit the same to AGM for corrective & Preventive action
• Prepare the various daily progress reports for tracking the status of QA / QC activities at the site
