Job summary

Wipro Water, a Business Unit of Wipro Infrastructure Engineering, Mumbai, is seeking a Process Design Engineer with 4 to 8 years in water and wastewater projects to execute detailed process engineering for post‑order projects.

You will deliver PFDs, P&IDs, mass balances, and be a strong cross‑functional liaison across mechanical, instrumentation and electrical teams, ensuring timely deliverables and robust technical support.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience in water and wastewater field.
• Execute detailed process engineering activities for post‑order projects.
• Prepare PFDs, P&IDs and mass balance calculations.

Responsibilities

• Process design and engineering deliverables for BEP and downstream packages.
• Cross‑functional support to mechanical, instrumentation and electrical teams.
• Assist in startup, commissioning, and performance validation.
• Provide solutions for raw/effluent water variation.

To execute detailed process engineering activities for post-order projects, ensuring accurate design, timely deliverables, and strong technical support across departments.

Key Accountabilities:

• Prepare:
• Process Flow Diagrams (PFD)

2. Basic Engineering Package (BEP)

• Prepare complete BEP including:
• Design calculations
• Data sheets
• Control philosophy (FRCP)
• Support optimization of:
• Equipment selection
• Chemical dosing schemes
• Process configurations

4. Cross-Functional Support

• Provide process inputs to:
• Mechanical for equipment RFQs
• Instrumentation for control philosophy
• Electrical for load lists
• Drawing approvals
• Support technical discussions with vendors
• Assist in:
• Startup & commissioning
• Performance validation
• Provide solutions for:
• Raw/effluent water variation
