Seeds Renewables is looking for a Lead Engineer – Process to join the Water team in India. The role involves leading the design and engineering of water and wastewater treatment plants, ensuring quality and adherence to standards in both Indian and international contexts.

The ideal candidate should have expertise in process and hydraulic design, Bill of Quantities estimation, and familiarity with water treatment technologies. The position offers an opportunity to work on key projects in Noida, Gurugram, and Chennai.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of water and wastewater treatment technologies.
• Experience with process and hydraulic design.
• Desirable knowledge of design codes like German ATV Standards.
• Familiarity with design codes (DIN/ATV standards) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Department and Project Leads.
• Deliver process and hydraulic design tasks.
• Prepare flow and mass balance, design calculations, and diagrams.
• Support BOQ estimation and costing activities.
• Apply water/wastewater design knowledge for Indian and international contexts.

Job Description

Job Locations: Noida / Gurugram / Chennai

As our new Lead Engineer – Process, Water you will be part of the Water team. As a member of the Water team you will be responsible for carrying out the water and wastewater treatment plant design and carrying out the design check of the drawings produced by CAD technicians/Modelers in the team and maintaining the quality of deliverables. To succeed in this role, you must have knowledge and understanding of principles of Water and Wastewater Treatment technology.

• Lead Engineer shall co‑ordinate with Department Lead/ Team Lead/ Project Manager and Assistant Engineer/ Technical Manager/ Senior Principal Engineer.
• Be primarily involved in delivering the scheduled tasks in the form of Process and Hydraulic Design and 3D Model / 2D Drawings.
• Knowledge of design codes like German ATV Standards / DIN / any other international standards would be desirable.
• Knowledge on Advanced Water Treatment / Desalination with good knowledge on MF, UF, RO, Mixed Bed Polishing, ZLD would be desirable.
• Having good knowledge on preparing Flow and Mass Balance, Process Design and Equipment Sizing, Hydraulic Design Calculation, Hydraulic Flow Diagram, Plant Layout, Process and Instrumentation Diagram etc. would be desirable.
• Having good knowledge on Bill of Quantities estimation and Costing would be desirable.
• Knowledge and understanding of principles of water and wastewater treatment designs in Indian and international environment. Knowledge of Basic Engineering and Detailed Engineering Design of WTP, WWTP / CETP along with Pump station is desirable.
