Job summary

IPS is seeking a Plumbing Engineer to join our team in Mumbai, Delhi and Hyderabad locations, responsible for plumbing design, layouts, cost estimates and cross-discipline coordination on technically complex facilities.

The ideal candidate has a Mechanical/ Chemical Engineering degree with 10+ years of experience and proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office; familiarity with US codes is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical/ Chemical Engineering with 10+ years experience.
• Auto CAD course.
• Working experience in MS Office.
• Any other certificate course.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the list of project deliverables
• Costing for Storm water network, entire plumbing network
• Co-ordination with other discipline for necessary drawings
• Planning for deliverable like Plumbing layout, raw water pump room layout
• Plumbing and Drain Line size calculation
• Familiar with US Codes and standard
• Prepare Tender document for Plumbing
• Send enquiry of tender to approved venders
• To release Technical Bid Analyses
• To release storm water drainage layout, Plumbing layout
• Co-ordination with other service like fire hydrant network, electrical cable routing etc
• Conduct site visits to understand project issues and resolve them
