Job summary

IPS-Integrated Project Services is seeking a senior Plumbing Engineer to join our team in Mumbai, with projects spanning life sciences facilities. You will prepare deliverables, perform storm water and plumbing network costing, and coordinate with other disciplines to produce compliant drawings.

Responsibilities include sizing calculations, creating plumbing layouts, and supporting tender processes while adhering to US codes and standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical/ Chemical Engineering with 10+ years experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.
• Experience in preparing project deliverables and cost estimation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the list of project deliverables.
• Costing for storm water network and entire plumbing network.
• Coordination with other disciplines for drawings.
• Planning for deliverables like plumbing layout and raw water pump room layout.
• Plumbing and drain line size calculation.
• Familiar with US Codes and standards.
• Prepare tender documents for plumbing.
• Send tender enquiries to approved vendors.
• Release technical bid analyses.
• Coordinate storm water drainage and plumbing layouts with other services.
• Conduct site visits to understand and resolve project issues.
