Job summary

IPS is seeking a Senior Instrumentation Engineer to join our Mumbai team to design and review instrumentation systems for complex life sciences facilities, coordinating with global teams as needed.

You will prepare instrument specifications, sizing calculations, layouts, and 3D model reviews using Navisworks or Revit, while liaising with vendors and clients to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation engineering.
• 5-10 years of experience in electrical design.
• Experience in working with remote teams situated in different regions.
• Good communication skills and stakeholder management.

Position Responsibilities

• Instrumentation design basis.
• I/O list and instrumentation index.
• Instrument specifications and datasheets.
• Instrument sizing calculations.
• Instrumentation layouts (cable tray, earthing, and locating layout).
• Hook-up drawings.
• 3D model review in Navisworks/Revit.
• TBE/VDR.
• Vendor and Client Coordination.

Qualifications & Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• International project exposure with knowledge of IS, IEC & NEC.
• Pharma industry electrical design experience.
