Job summary

Mahindra And Mahindra Ltd. is seeking a senior engineer to lead engine emission testing and test facility operations in Chennai, ensuring compliance with Indian, US, and European emission regulations.

The role involves planning, scheduling, manpower training, and rigorous data analysis using tools like PUMA, Orbit-e, and Concerto. Expect hands-on work with emission measurement equipment, dyno testbeds, and software such as INCA and VISU.

Qualifications

• BE or ME required.
• Experience in engine emission testing per Indian, US and European standards.
• Hands-on experience with dyno testbeds and related automation software.

Job description

General Requirements

*Sound Knowledge of Indian legislation (AIS 137) & International Emission legislations(40CFR 1065 & 1039 and EU R96).

Proficient in handling below equipments ,

• Steady state/transient dyno testbed operation and its automation software like PUMA / Orbit-e
• Emission measuring Equipments, SPC 478 - particulate measurement system, APC - Particle Counter device, smoke meter, opacimeter, Airflow meter and fuel meter & conditoner.

Ability to do steady state /transient Dyno Performance & Emission testing independently.

Engine test data analysis in SW like Concerto / Uniplot / excel sheet

Knowledge on engine management softwares like INCA & VISU.
