Job summary

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of relevant aviation/MRO or engineering experience.

  • Familiarity with aviation regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update mandatory documents to industry standards and company specs.
  • Review existing mandatory documents for accuracy and completeness of content, illustrations, and procedures.
  • Analyze source data to create technical documentation; request information from clients when needed.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and other teams to ensure proper documentation inclusion.
  • Communicate updates to stakeholders and ensure smooth distribution across components.
  • Ensure compliance with ADs, AMMs, CMMs and CRM references.

Job description

The MRO Data Maintenance Engineer will be integrated into the ZPB (Central Process Support) framework within the Technical Documentation function of the Engineering Services department. The ZPB overseeing technical documentation holds cross-departmental responsibilities. In this capacity, the Engineer will oversee the up to datedness, maintenance, and distribution of Mandatory documents in alignment with industry standards, regulations, and company specifications. This position demands meticulous attention to detail, technical proficiency, and collaborative engagement with diverse stakeholders to guarantee the precision and currency of documentation.


Responsibilities:

Reviewing Documentation:


  • Review existing mandatory documents to identify outdated information or revisions needed.

  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of technical content, illustrations, and procedural information.

  • Analyze source data to create technical documentation; request additional information from clients when necessary.


Communication and Collaboration:


  • Stay informed about aviation regulations, industry standards, and best practices related to ADs, AMMs, CMMs and CRMs.

  • Communicate updates to relevant stakeholders, ensuring a smooth transition to new documentation.

  • Collaborate closely with engineering, quality assurance, and other relevant teams to collect and validate technical information, ensuring that all mandatory documentation is accurately included in the required components.

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for updates.

  • Quality control for the created/revised mandatory documents.


International Collaboration:


  • Demonstrate effective communication skills for collaborating with an international team.

  • Be prepared for extensive traveling for training and other purposes if needed.


Qualifications:


  • Graduation in any Engineering or aeronautical / aviation discipline is a MUST.

  • Experience from Aviation/MRO/Cargo/Supply Chain/any Engineering industry is preferred.

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience.

  • Knowledge of aircraft systems, components, and maintenance procedures.

  • Familiarity with aviation regulations and standards.

  • Excellent spoken and written English.

  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel, Word, SAP, S1000D, i-Spec 2200 and ASD STE-100.

  • Good Team Player, flexible, result oriented and working towards set targets.

  • Willingness to undergo continuous training.
