Job summary

Phoenix Incorporated seeks an Engineer - MEP to lead on-site execution of civil, MEP and interior design activities at the project site, coordinating with contractors, consultants and internal teams.

The role requires 2-5+ years of on-site experience, knowledge of IBMS and safety norms, and the ability to review drawings and ensure QA/QC testing and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Understanding of engineering design and drawing.
• Knowledge of establishing and running IBMS.
• Knowledge of safety norms/rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Check project timelines and schedules for civil, MEP and Interior Design with contractors.
• Provide drawings and coordination drawings for all MEP areas to the appointed MEP contractors.
• Coordinate with QA/QC to undertake quality testing of materials and workmanship.
• Monitor adherence to timelines and elevate delays in the schedule.
• Ensure safety norms are followed by the contractor's workforce and arrange safety measures for high-rise structures.
• Coordinate with Civil Team for civil works.
• Undertake daily checks of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire-fighting installations to ensure adherence to drawings and issues are highlighted.
• Test all equipment and electrical systems across the project-site including central plant and final testing.
• Ensure main equipment control and electricity load is managed by the BMS.
• Prepare carcass and furniture manufacturing in factory and coordinate with MEP for final ID fittings.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution

• Check whether the projecttimelines and individual schedules for the various areas includingcivil, MEP and Interior Design have been provided to the concernedcontractors
• Provide the individualdrawings as well as coordination drawing for all MEP areas to theappointed MEP contractors
• Ensure coordination withthe QA/ QC team to undertake the quality testing of the material/scoming in
• Monitor the adherence tospecified timelines/ schedules for the completion of various phases ofcivil, MEP and Interior Design work and elevate the non-adherences ordelays in the schedule
• Ensure that the safetynorms are followed by the contractor�s workforce and adequate safetyarrangement are made in case of high rise structures

Civil

• Co-ordination with CivilTeam

MEP Services

• Undertake daily checks/inspections of every area for HVAC, electrical, plumbing andfire-fighting equipment installations and fittings to ensure adherenceto drawings and highlight issues
• Undertake complete testingof all equipment and service, electrical systems across all areas of theproject-site including floor ۞wise, shaft-wise, central plant and finaltesting
• Ensure that the mainequipment control and electricity load/ consumption is managedeffectively by the BMS

Interior Design

• Initiate the process ofpreparation of carcass and furniture to be manufactured in the factory
• Coordinate with MEP to getclearance on the final MEP fittings (Lights/ grills/ etc.) in order tocomplete the final ID finishing (paint, fabrics, etc.)
• Check the line out of thewalling done by the contractor on a daily basis and provide the requiredclearances in a timely manner
• Understand the budgetaryallocation for various phases of the project across the areas of Civil,MEP and interior design and monitor the costs/ budget at every stage ofthe project execution and elevate any delays
