Job summary

Gargi Huttenes Albertus Pvt Ltd in Khopoli is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to lead plant engineering and maintenance across mechanical and utilities. The role focuses on uptime, reliability, and regulatory compliance in a chemical manufacturing setting.

You will plan preventative maintenance, perform root cause analysis, manage spares, coordinate with vendors, and drive Kaizen improvements while preparing monthly KPI and utility reports for senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–6 years of experience in chemical manufacturing.
• Experience with machinery, utilities, and plant systems.
• Knowledge of EHS requirements in maintenance.
• Familiarity with Kaizen and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• a) Engineering & Maintenance of the plant including Mechanical & utilities.
• b) Planning & Scheduling Preventive and Predictive Maintenance.
• c) Prepare calibration and statutory testing plans; ensure 100% compliance.
• d) Breakdown maintenance, root cause analysis and CAPA implementation.
• e) Spare parts management, ordering and inventory control; review critical spares.
• f) Coordinate with vendors and AMC service providers for timely work.
• g) Lead maintenance engineers and technicians.
• h) Prepare monthly reports and KPI/utility reports.
• i) Knowledge of plant and utility equipment.
• j) Execute projects as required.
• k) Implement Kaizens and improvements suggested by CFT.

Experience:

Minimum 4-6 Exp in Chemical/Specialty chemical manufacturing. Exposure to engineering & Maintenance of the plant which includes Mechanical, Projects & utilities.

Communication: Proficient in English, Marathi, Hindi (written / oral)

Job Description:

a. Responsible of Engineering & Maintenance of the plant which includes Mechanical, & utilities.

b. Planning & Scheduling Preventative, Predictive Maintenance.

c. Preparation of calibration plan, statutory testing plan as per requirement. Monitor & ensure 100% Compliance to Statutory testing & EHS requirement wrt Engineering & Maintenance area.

d. Breakdown Maintenance, Root cause analysis & CAPA Implementation.

e. Spare Part Management, Ordering & Spares Inventory Control. Conduct review of critical Spares & ensure availability of critical Spares all times.

f. Co-ordination with vendors, AMC Service providers for timely execution of work.

g. Provide leadership to Maintenance personals Engineers & technicians.

h. Preparation on Monthly reports, KPIS, utility reports, etc

i. Knowledge of Plant & Utility Equipment.

j. Execution of project.

k. Responsible for implementing Kaizens & Improvement suggested by CFT team
