Job summary

Vital Therapeutics & Formulations is seeking a Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) to oversee preventive and periodical maintenance of machinery in our pharma manufacturing setup. The role emphasizes safety, ISO compliance, and equipment efficiency.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in mechanical maintenance within pharma or related industries and is proficient in MS Office. Knowledge of electrical maintenance is a plus, along with spare parts inventory management.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in Pharma, Chemicals/Fertilizers/Agro Chemical Industries in Mechanical Maintenance.
• Knowledge in Electrical maintenance preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word/Excel).
• Experience with Safety and ISO norms is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of machines and equipment including preventive and periodical upkeep.
• Develop and comply with SOPs for maintenance tasks.
• Ensure spare parts and consumables inventory is well managed.
• Perform safety audits and risk assessments as part of maintenance activities.
