Job summary

LPL Financial Global Capability Center in Hyderabad seeks a Professional Middleware Engineer specializing in Tumbleweed to lead enterprise MFT strategy, drive automation, and mentor the MFT team.

You will architect MFT solutions using Tumbleweed/Axway, oversee migrations, define security policies, and collaborate with security, compliance, and audit teams to meet regulatory requirements. The role requires 5-9 years in middleware/file transfer and strong scripting skills (Python, Shell, Ansible).

Qualifications

• 5-9 years of middleware/file transfer experience with deep expertise in Tumbleweed/Axway platforms.
• Expert knowledge of Axway Secure Transport, Gateway, and Tumbleweed MFT administration & Connect Direct.
• Advanced understanding of B2B protocols: AS2, SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, EDI (X12, EDIFACT).
• Strong background in security: PKI, PGP, certificate lifecycle management, and access governance.
• Experience leading MFT platform migrations, upgrades, and disaster recovery planning.
• Excellent stakeholder management and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Shell, Ansible).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with security, compliance, and audit teams to ensure MFT platforms meet regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate and recommend new MFT capabilities, toolchain improvements, and vendor roadmap alignment.
• Manage critical production incidents and lead post-incident reviews and permanent fixes.

ROLE SUMMARY

The Professional Middleware Engineer specializing in Tumbleweed serves as the senior technical authority for enterprise Managed File Transfer (MFT) infrastructure. This role leads platform strategy, drives automation and compliance initiatives, and mentors the MFT engineering team.

• MFT security or Axway certifications preferred
