Job summary

Accenture in India is seeking an Operations Engineer specialized in Axway Managed File Transfer (MFT) to design, configure, monitor, and support secure file exchanges across enterprise systems. You will own Axway MFT operations, collaborate with application and infrastructure teams, and ensure high availability of production file transfer workflows from Hyderabad.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for Axway MFT solutions and collaborate with delivery teams.
• Own technical decisions related to Axway MFT operations and support activities.
• Design, configure, monitor and maintain Axway MFT environments.
• Implement and support secure file transfer workflows using Axway MFT platforms.
• Manage file transfers across protocols (SFTP, FTPS, FTP, AS2, HTTPS).
• Configure partners, endpoints, routing, certificates, and security settings in Axway MFT.
• Monitor file transfer jobs, troubleshoot failures, and perform root cause analysis.
• Perform performance tuning and operational improvements for Axway MFT environments.
• Manage digital certificates, encryption, authentication, and access controls.
• Develop automation scripts using Shell, Python or similar.
• Support incident management, change management, and production support.
• Collaborate with application & infrastructure teams to ensure reliable file exchange.
• Mentor junior team members on Axway MFT administration.

SummaryAs an Operations Engineer specializing in Axway Managed File Transfer (MFT), you will design, configure, monitor, and support secure file exchange solutions using Axway MFT platforms. The role requires strong expertise in Axway MFT products, file transfer protocols, automation, security standards, and operational support processes to ensure reliable and secure movement of business-critical data.
The engineer will collaborate with application teams, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to maintain high availability, troubleshoot file transfer issues, optimize workflows, and ensure secure enterprise data exchange.
Roles & Responsibilities:

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Axway MFT solutions and collaborate with teams for effective delivery.
• Own technical decisions related to Axway MFT operations, configuration, and support activities.
• Design, configure, monitor, and maintain Axway Managed File Transfer environments.
• Implement and support secure file transfer workflows using Axway MFT platforms.
• Manage file transfers using protocols such as SFTP, FTPS, FTP, AS2, HTTPS, and other secure transfer mechanisms.
• Configure partners, endpoints, routing rules, workflows, certificates, and security settings in Axway MFT.
• Monitor file transfer jobs, troubleshoot failures, and perform root cause analysis for production issues.
• Perform performance tuning, issue resolution, and operational improvements for Axway MFT environments.
• Manage digital certificates, encryption, authentication, and access controls.
• Develop automation scripts using Shell, Python, or similar scripting languages to improve operational efficiency.
• Support incident management, change management, and production support activities.
• Collaborate with application teams, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to ensure reliable file exchange operations.
• Mentor junior team members on Axway MFT administration, troubleshooting, and best practices.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must-have skill: Strong proficiency in Axway Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Axway SecureTransport, Axway B2Bi, Axway Gateway, or similar Axway MFT products.
• Strong experience in configuring and supporting Axway MFT workflows, partners, endpoints, routing, and monitoring.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise file transfer protocols including SFTP, FTPS, FTP, AS2, and HTTPS.
• Experience with file transfer scheduling, monitoring, alerting, and operational support.
• Strong understanding of encryption, digital certificates, authentication, and security standards.
• Experience troubleshooting file transfer failures, connectivity issues, and performance bottlenecks.
• Experience with Shell scripting, Python, or automation tools for operational support.
• Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, middleware concepts, and API-based integrations.
• Experience supporting large-scale production environments with high availability requirements.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes, Agile methodologies, SDLC, and change management practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• This position is based at the Hyderabad office.
