Job summary

Databuzz in Hyderabad invites an experienced Production Support Engineer to join our MFT platform team. You will deliver L2/L3 support for IBM Sterling File Gateway, Connect: Direct, and related tools, ensuring file transfers run smoothly and securely.

The role requires 6+ years in production support, strong Linux/Windows administration, and ITIL-based incident and problem management with a readiness to participate in a 24x7 rotation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in production support for MFT platforms.
• Hands-on knowledge of IBM Sterling File Gateway/ SI, Connect:Direct, Sterling Secure Proxy.
• Strong knowledge of file transfer protocols (SFTP, FTPS, AS2, HTTPS, CD).
• Strong Linux/Unix and Windows administration.
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Splunk, AppDynamics, ThousandEyes).
• Solid knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Release).
• Willingness to participate in a 24x7 global support rotation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver L2/L3 support for MFT platforms (IBM Sterling Integrator/File Gateway, Sterling Secure Proxy, Connect: Direct).
• Monitor daily file transfer jobs, troubleshoot failures, and ensure timely completion of critical business processes.
• Perform health checks, certificate renewals, user provisioning, and connectivity troubleshooting (SFTP, FTPS, AS2, HTTPS, CD).
• Provide support as part of a 24x7 global support rotation.
• Lead incident investigation, diagnosis, and resolution for high-priority issues.
• Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive actions to avoid recurrence.
• Engage with infrastructure, middleware, and network teams for complex troubleshooting.
• Ensure SLAs are met for incident resolution and problem closure.
