Job summary

Kornferry in Bengaluru is seeking an Advanced Engineer Cloud to lead MQ and MFT administration in a hybrid cloud environment. You will build and maintain Active MQ clusters on containers/VMs, onboard topics, create queues, and troubleshoot complex issues while collaborating with business teams.

Experience with Stonebranch MFT, AKS or containers, and DevOps practices (Ansible, scripting) is highly valued. The role demands strong communication and independent work in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in MQ / MFT administration and support.
• Azure cloud MQ platform 9.x experience is a plus.
• Stonebranch MFT experience is a plus.
• DevOps experience is a plus.
• Automation of repetitive tasks using Ansible.
• Experience with RHEL 7.x+.

Responsibilities

What you will be doing:

MQ / Active MQ / MFT administration and support (Messaging and MFT Engineer):

• Build and maintain Active MQ cluster on containers and VMs.
• Help Onboard application topics, create queues.
• Identify root causes / debug and troubleshoot problems.
• Install managed file transfer agents in stonebranch MFT
• Interact with customers to onboard their requests, educate them about MFT use-cases.

Main responsibilities:

What we are searching for:

• Retail and / or grocery industry experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience on MQ and MFT implementation.
• Experience with operating on containers is a big plus preferably AKS.
• Knowledge of various integration patterns, data transfer protocols
• Experience with any MFT tool (connect direct, Metastorm integration manager or Stone branch)

We believe the successful candidate has these qualifications and experience:

• 6+ years of experience in MQ / MFT administration and support.
• Experience in MQ platform 9.x on azure cloud is a big plus
• Experience with Stonebranch MFT is a big plus.
• Devops experience is a big plus.
• Experience building clusters and maintaining large cluster environment, HA clusters and RDQM is a big plus.
• Automation of repetitive tasks like topic creation, queue creation, flow creation.
• Experience with Ansible, shell scripting.
• Experience with RHEL 7.x onwards.
• Able to support high priority production issues and bring it closure and provide RCA & fix

Business Acumen & Communication:

• Skilled at understanding business challenges and translating them into solutions that create measurable impact.
• Prior collaboration experience with business teams to ensure effective integration with business applications.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently while seeking direction when necessary.
