Eaton in India seeks a flow and thermal analysis engineer to model conjugate heat transfer and electronics cooling for transformer, fuses, switchgear, UPS and circuit protection devices. You will develop and validate CFD models, predict thermal performance, and coordinate with global teams (India, Europe, US, China) to ensure design intent and timelines.
Master’s in Mechanical/Fluids & Thermal and 0–1 year experience expected, with strong CFD/heat transfer knowledge and willingness to validate
The primary responsibility of this role is to perform flow & thermal analysis of transformer/fuses/switchgear/UPS/Circuit protection devices & allied electrical products for thermal performance prediction. Individual will be required to partner with teams located in India, Europe, US & China, understand specific design intent, develop, and validate analysis models to substantiate various engineering designs. He/She should be conversant with different products within the electrical portfolio. Candidate should ensure proper coordination and communication with all stakeholders by following project management best practices. This position is responsible for handling medium complex technologies related to conjugate heat transfer, flow estimation & electronics cooling wherein incumbent is expected to independently handle requirements and deliver quality results within stipulated timelines.

The candidate should have strong background in heat transfer, fluid mechanics with thorough understanding of CFD analysis fundamentals and 1D models. He/She should proactively look for various opportunities to validate his/her analytical predictions with physical testing to constantly mature DP capabilities.
