Job summary

Talentigence is hiring on behalf of one of our esteemed engineering clients for the position of Engineer - FEA. Location: India. Employment Type: Full-Time. Experience: Minimum 1 year is Mandatory.

Education: B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or M.Tech in Machine Design / CAD-CAM / Structural Engineering. Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, performing pre-processing, solving and post-processing of FEA simulations, and generating technical reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in FEA.
• Proficient in FEMAP, ANSYS, NX Nastran.
• Strong knowledge of static and dynamic analysis.
• Experience in interpreting results and preparing reports.

Responsibilities

• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Identify missing engineering inputs and coordinate with clients when required.
• Perform pre-processing, solving, and post-processing of FEA simulations.
• Validate simulation results based on engineering principles and the laws of physics.
• Conduct Finite Element Analysis using FEMAP, ANSYS, and NX Nastran.
• Perform Linear, Non-Linear, Static, Transient, Modal, and Contact Analysis.
• Interpret FEA results and provide engineering recommendations.
• Prepare technical reports and project documentation.
• Support product and component design analysis, including strength of materials, material selection, and design optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to execute projects.
• Conduct peer reviews to ensure quality and accuracy of engineering deliverables.
• Maintain project documentation and upload files to the central database.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned projects with high-quality deliverables.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Strong understanding of Finite Element Analysis concepts.
• Knowledge of FEMAP, ANSYS, or NX Nastran will be an advantage.
