Job summary

SIG Group is seeking an Engineer - Electrical Maintenance to ensure safe operation of injection molding equipment and to perform electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance. You will read electrical drawings, diagnose issues, prepare machine history cards and maintain 5S standards at the workplace.

Ideal candidates have a Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering (5 years in molding) or ITI with 10 years’ experience, and strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for quick root-cause

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Electrical engineering with 5 years in injection molding.
• ITI with 10 years in injection molding.
• Ability to solve problems and perform root-cause analyses.
• Knowledge in machine troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety is the top priority.
• Understand injection molding machines and auxiliaries.
• Read and understand electrical drawings, circuit design and layout.
• Prepare machine history cards.
• Maintain HRTC hot runner system in mold.
• Maintain harmonics and capacitors.
• Diagnose hydraulic leaks and maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Safety should be the top priority while working.
• Must have good understanding of injection molding machine & auxiliary equipment.
• Must read and understand electrical drawings, circuit design and layout.
• Preparation of machine history card.
• Must have knowledge in maintenance and repair of HRTC hot runner system in mold.
• Must have knowledge in maintaining harmonics and capacitors.
• Ability to diagnose hydraulic leaks and maintenance.
• General knowledge of electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic blueprint and schematic readings.
• Maintaining 5S at the workplace.

You Bring These Skills, Experience & Education

• Must hold Diploma or Degree in Electrical engineering with 5 years of experience in Injection molding industry.
• OR Minimum ITI with 10 years of experience in Injection molding industry.
• Must have ability to solve problems and do root cause analyses.
• Must knowledge in machine troubleshooting.
