Job summary

ACG World in Maharashtra seeks a seasoned PLC/SCADA software engineer to configure and develop software for production machines, following Master codes, GMP/GAMP, and our validation standards to ensure on-time delivery in full.

You will design, test, release and document PLC/SCADA code, create IIOT tag lists, provide content for operation manuals and validation documents, and manage software backups and recovery procedures with the QA team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering.
• 4–6 years of experience in control systems software development.
• Experience with PLC and SCADA (B&R, Mitsubishi, Zenon).
• Industry preference: PLC/SCADA system houses or OEM capital goods/pharma machinery.

Responsibilities

• Configure PLC and SCADA software from master P&ID and flow charts, release V1.00+ as per sales order.
• Create PLC/SCADA code for additional customer requirements per scope.
• Create, test, release and document IIOT Tag lists and interface functions.
• Provide content (screenshots) to documentation for manuals and validation documents.
• Create, hand over and store software backups for customers.
• Execute and document disaster recovery for PLC/SCADA/VFD/servo systems.
• Test and record software ITR results before release to production.
• Execute machine I/O testing.

Job Objective

Configure and develop software programs (PLC, HMI and SCADA) for the projects using Master codes and GMP/ GAMP and ACG Company validation and test standards in-order to achieve on time delivery in full, for production machines as per Sales Order.

Primary responsibilities

Functional

Core

1. Configure PLC and SCADA software codes from master P & ID/ Flow chart, FS and release the same for customer software V1.00 or higher, as per customer Sales Order.


2. Create PLC and SCADA software codes for additional requirements from the customer scope by using ACGE company software guidelines for software level 1 modules and level 2 & 3 machine function design.


3. Create, test, release and document the IIOT Tag list and Interface function.


4. Create and deliver the content (screen shots) to the documentation team for the machine documentation, including operation manuals and validation documents


5. Create, hand over and store software backups for the customers.


6. Execute and document the disaster & recovery process for PLC, SCADA, VFDs and servo systems.

1. Testing and recording the software ITR results before releasing to production. (Using simulation software)


2. Execute the machine I/ O testing

Internal process

1. Impart training to QA/ CFT on new machines functions and special customer solutions.


2. Supporting QA to execute machine integration test results (ITR) before factory acceptance test (FAT)


3. Provide information related to software and machine functions to support the Leader of Design and Integration.


4. Release Software updates for the retrofit business to support leader of the hardware engineering.

Minimum Requirement

• Industry preference :- PLC and SCADA system house, OEM – capital goods/ pharma machine.
