Job summary

PRATITHI ORGANIC FOODS PRIVATE LIMITED in Sonipat invites an Engineer (Electrical) to join Engineering & Maintenance. You will perform preventive and emergency electrical maintenance on production lines and packaging equipment, troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, motors, and sensors, and support safe operation of plant utilities.

Qualifications

• B.Tech / BE or Diploma in Electrical Engineering required.
• 3–6 years of relevant electrical maintenance experience in manufacturing or processing plants.
• Hands-on expertise with PLCs, VFDs, relay logic, control circuits, and electric motors.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventive, and emergency electrical maintenance on production machinery, packaging lines, food processing equipment, and utility systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical control panel issues, PLCs, VFDs, motors, sensors, and instrumentation.
• Oversee maintenance of HT/LT panels, transformers, DG sets, UPS systems, and switchgears; coordinate with electricity boards during disruptions.
• Implement PM schedules to minimize downtime and maintain logs of breakdowns and spare parts usage.
• Ensure adherence to factory safety standards, electrical safety codes, and local regulations; execute LOTO protocols.

2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
  • Perform routine, preventive, and emergency electrical maintenance on production machinery, packaging lines, food processing equipment, and utility systems.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical control panel issues, PLCs, VFDs, motors, sensors, and instrumentation.
• Power Distribution & Utility Management:
  • Oversee smooth operation and maintenance of electrical high-tension (HT) / low-tension (LT) panels, transformers, DG sets, UPS systems, and switchgears.
  • Coordinate with local electricity boards/authorities during power disruptions or grid maintenance.
• Preventive Maintenance Planning:
  • Implement daily, weekly, and monthly Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain precise logs of equipment breakdowns, maintenance history, and spare parts utilization.
• Compliance & Safety:
  • Ensure strict adherence to factory safety standards, electrical safety codes, and local statutory regulations.
  • Execute Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols during repair and maintenance work.
• Spare Parts & Inventory:
  • Maintain critical electrical spares inventory to ensure rapid breakdown response.
  • Coordinate with vendor suppliers and procurement teams for sourcing quality electrical components.

3. CANDIDATE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

EducationB. Tech / BE or Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

Experience3 to 6 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or processing plant (preference for Food Processing, FMCG, or Pharma industries).

Any Specific RequirementHands-on expertise with PLCs, VFDs, relay logic, control circuits, and electric motors. Strong knowledge of HT/LT distribution panels, DG sets, and plant utilities. Ability to read and interpret electrical circuit diagrams, schematics, and single-line diagrams (SLD).
