Job summary

Globallogic in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced SDET to design, develop, and execute performance tests. You will enhance test automation using Playwright and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with developers, QA engineers, and DevOps to improve quality and scalability.

The role requires hands-on performance testing, automation, and strong Git-based workflows to ensure efficient delivery. Join a global team and contribute to high-tech projects across industries.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in Software Development Engineering in Test (SDET), Quality Engineering and Test Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with performance testing, test automation, CI/CD integration, and Git-based workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute performance/load tests using JMeter/Gatling/LoadRunner/K6 (or equivalent tools) to identify bottlenecks and ensure application scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Enhance and scale existing test automation frameworks using Playwright (or similar modern automation tools) to improve test coverage and execution efficiency.
• Integrate and maintain automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to drive quality engineering best practices
• Leverage Git-based version control and engineering best practices to maintain reusable, maintainable, and scalable test assets.

Requirements:

4-6 years of experience in Software Development Engineering in Test (SDET), Quality Engineering and Test Automation.
