GlobalLogic in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to design and implement robust automated test frameworks using C# and .NET for enterprise desktop applications. You will drive performance testing, UI automation, and end-to-end automation across CI/CD pipelines.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years in software QA automation, strong Python scripting, PowerShell, and familiarity with the Reqnroll framework, Azure pipelines, and AI-enhanced testing approaches.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of progressive experience in software quality assurance automation, focusing on C# and .NET in an enterprise environment.
• This position requires a full-time commitment to working on-site at our Bangalore facility, fostering direct collaboration and team integration within the office environment.
• Proficiency in C# programming, including object-oriented design principles and advanced language features.
• Strong working knowledge of the .NET framework or .NET Core for scalable test infrastructure.
• Advanced Python scripting for test automation, data analysis, and integration with testing tools.
• Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and managing complex QA automation frameworks and strategies across the SDLC.
• Extensive experience in performance, load, and stress testing.
• Testing desktop applications, including UI automation and backend service validation.
• AI concepts in testing and predictive analytics.
• PowerShell scripting for results collection and reporting; Azure pipelines integration.
• C# with Reqnroll Framework to analyze and fix failures in tests.
• Python basics for scripts collecting results from pipelines.
• Manual testing to understand desktop applications and automate related tests.

Responsibilities

• Solid understanding and practical experience with testing desktop applications, including UI automation and backend service validation.
• Demonstrated intermediate understanding and practical application of Artificial Intelligence concepts, particularly in enhancing test automation and predictive analytics.
• PowerShell Scripting:
  Knowledge of PowerShell scripting is required, as several scripts are used to collect results and generate reports. Occasionally, scripts may need to be updated when requirements change.
• C# with Reqnroll Framework:
  Knowledge of C# with the Reqnroll framework is required to analyze and fix failures in existing automated tests.
• Python:
  Basic knowledge of Python is required, as some scripts are used to collect results from Azure pipelines.
• Manual Testing:
  Manual testing skills are required to understand thedesktopapplication and to automate related test cases.>

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) methodologies and tools, such as SpecFlow or Cucumber, would be advantageous for collaborative test definition.
