Job summary

UST in Bengaluru, India is seeking a Lead I - Embedded Software to design and develop embedded software for audio processing using C/C++ on RTOS. You will contribute to audio pipelines and hardware interfacing while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.

The role involves understanding schematics, debugging with CRO and logic analyzers, and enhancing CI/CD practices with unit tests and design documentation. Candidates should be proficient in audio protocols and development tools.

Qualifications

• Strong in programming and analytical skills with C and C++.
• Experience with embedded systems including RTOS, interrupts, tasks.
• Familiarity with audio streaming frameworks such as OpenMax, SOF, ALSA.
• Knowledge of audio protocols IIS, TDM, PCM.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git, and CMake for development tasks and unit tests.
• Ability to read schematics and datasheets, and use tools like CRO and Logic Analyzer.
• Experience communicating design docs using Visio or UML.

Skillset

• Strong in programming and analytical skills - fluent with C and C++
• Understanding of embedded systems – RTOS, interrupts, tasks etc
• Familiarity with Audio streaming frameworks like OpenMax, SOF, ALSA
