Job summary

Allegis Global Solutions (AGS) in Bengaluru is seeking a hands-on embedded software engineer for a 6-month contract. You will develop and debug software in C and C++ for embedded platforms, focusing on RTOS-based systems and real-time tasks.

You will work on audio streaming with ALSA/SOF/OpenMAX, implement support for I2S, TDM and PCM, and perform hardware/software debugging with CRO and Logic Analyzers. Documentation and design artifacts in Visio/UML will be created and maintained.

Qualifications

• Proficient in C and C++ with hands-on experience.
• Strong knowledge of embedded systems and RTOS.
• Experience with ALSA, SOF, or OpenMAX audio frameworks.
• Familiar with I2S, TDM, PCM protocols.
• Hands-on with CRO, Logic Analyzer, Audio Precision tools.
• Ability to read schematics and datasheets.
• Knowledge of Git, CMake, CI/CD, and unit testing.
• Familiar with Visio/UML for design documentation.
• Available for a 6-month contract in Bangalore.
