Responsibilities

1. Systems engineering for software.
2. Version control management for hardware and software.
3. Conduct logical analysis of architecture.
4. Conduct functional and technical design review.
5. Conduct failure mode and effect analysis on connected features.
6. Conduct UX review and collaborate with stakeholders to define UX for connected features.
7. Manage IP and freedom to operate assessments.
8. Convert customer requirements into use cases, UML, and state‑machine diagrams.
9. Develop and deploy embedded applications.
10. Develop connected features (BLE, WiFi, GSM), voice, and maps.
11. Debug wireless communications such as BLE, WiFi, and mesh networks.
12. Implement communication protocols (CAN, UART, UDS, SPI, TCP/IP, UDP).
13. Design and develop software components.
14. Design and develop hardware circuits.
15. Build, revise, and track technology roadmaps at the domain level.
16. Conduct frequent reviews with stakeholders on feature selection.
17. Develop software libraries for all business logic.
18. Develop proof‑of‑concepts for new connected technology concepts across Android, iOS, and Linux platforms.
19. Design, develop, and deploy audio applications and DSP concepts.
20. Develop sound‑processing algorithms for deployment on target controllers and processors.
21. Maintain knowledge of homologation standards for HMI and automotive electronics.

Qualifications

• ASPICE and ISO26262 experience.
• Experience building CCP applications in an RTOS environment.
• Minimum 2 years in sound engineering.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Embedded Linux/Android applications.
• B.Tech in ECE, EEE, or Computer Science with 3.5+ years of experience designing and developing connected automotive products.
• OR M.S. specialization in embedded systems, wireless communications, human‑machine interface, or Computer Science with over 1 year of relevant experience.
