Job summary

Quest Global in India is seeking a skilled C/C++ developer to join our embedded software team. You will design, develop, and optimize high-performance multimedia/embedded applications on Linux-based platforms, focusing on audio/video streaming, device drivers, and middleware integration.

The ideal candidate has strong C/C++ programming skills, solid understanding of embedded systems architecture, RTOS concepts, and hands-on debugging with JTAG and GDB. Exposure to Linux and MISRA C/C++ is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, or related field.
• Strong programming skills in C and/or C++.
• Good understanding of embedded systems architecture.
• Knowledge of RTOS concepts (tasks, semaphores, mutexes, interrupts).
• Understanding of memory management, pointers, and low-level programming.
• Familiarity with communication protocols: UART, I2C, SPI, CAN, USB, Ethernet.
• Experience in debugging using hardware and software tools.
• Exposure to version control systems (Git).

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in multimedia frameworks, especially GStreamer, and hands-on experience with audio post-processing frameworks. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing software solutions that involve audio and video streaming, processing, and integration.

Key Responsibilities
