Job summary

Sutherland is seeking an experienced SOC Operations Analyst in Hyderabad to manage email security operations. You will work in a 24x7 environment, monitor metrics, and drive improvements across email security workflows.

Key tasks include steering incident reviews, using Splunk to build dashboards, analyzing spam trends, and ensuring SPF/DKIM/DMARC compliance. Strong collaboration with multi-vendor teams and stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in Email Operations, Email Security, Trust & Safety, SOC environments.
• Hands-on experience with Splunk, SIEM, EDR.
• Strong understanding of SMTP, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
• Experience managing operations in a 24×7 environment.
• Experience with Proofpoint and email security workflows is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and ensure SLA, productivity, and quality targets are consistently achieved.
• Monitor and analyze trends in spam, phishing, spoofing, and email abuse.
• Drive proactive mitigation strategies and security improvements.
• Conduct incident reviews, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Leverage Splunk to build dashboards, monitor KPIs, and generate actionable insights.
• Ensure compliance with SPF, DKIM, DMARC and other email security standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and multi-vendor partners.
• Drive continuous improvement, process optimization, and automation.
