Job summary

Sutherland in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced professional to join our Email Operations and Security team to manage 24x7 operations.

You will handle email infrastructure, implement SPF/DKIM/DMARC, use Splunk for dashboards, and work with SIEM/EDR tools while ensuring SLA adherence.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in email operations and security environments.
• Expertise in spam/abuse mitigation and maintaining email infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of SMTP, SPF, DKIM, DMARC.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily 24x7 email operations to meet SLA, productivity and quality targets.
• Monitor trends in phishing and abuse; drive proactive mitigation strategies.
• Leverage Splunk to build dashboards, track KPIs, and derive insights.
• Conduct incident reviews and RCA, implementing preventive actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors for seamless operations.
• Drive process improvements and automation opportunities.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• 3-6 years of experience in email operations/Security, Proof point, Splunk, Trust & Safety / SOC environments
• Expertise in managing email operations, spam/abuse mitigation.
• Ensuring operational excellence in a 24x7 environment.
• Strong understanding of SMTP, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and email infrastructure
• Hands-on experience with Splunk
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and decision-making skills
• Expertise in managing email operations, Splunk, SIEM,EDR, spam/abuse mitigation, and Trust & Safety workflows, ensuring operational excellence in a 24x7 environment.
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring SLA, productivity, and quality targets are consistently met
• Monitor trends in spam, phishing, spoofing, and abuse; drive proactive mitigation strategies
• Conduct incident reviews, root cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective/preventive actions
• Leverage Splunk to build dashboards, track KPIs, and generate actionable insights
• Ensure adherence to email authentication standards (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and security protocols
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and multi-vendor partners for seamless operations
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, process optimization, and automation opportunities
