Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced Email Security Specialist to implement and manage email security solutions such as Office 365 and Mimecast. The role focuses on configuring policies, monitoring health, and guiding customers on rule optimization, incident response, and 24/7 shift readiness.

You will work with DMARC/DKIM/SPF, RCA for incidents, and leverage Microsoft Defender for Office 365 to enhance threat detection and governance.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of email security concepts and practical experience in implementing email security controls.
• Experience configuring and maintaining email security policies (anti-spam, anti-malware).
• Familiar with SMTP/IMAP/POP3 protocols and security features.
• Proficient in DMARC, DKIM and SPF record management and monitoring.
• Experience in incident RCA and proposing improvements to security rules.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage email security solutions (Office 365, Mimecast).
• Monitor daily health checks of email security tools and escalate issues to customers.
• Configure and optimize policies including anti-spam and anti-malware.
• Lead root cause analysis for email-based security incidents and recommend improvements.
• Investigate spam, phishing, spoofing, and impersonation attacks; advise on new rules.

• Good understanding in Implement, and manage email security solutions (Office 365,Mimecast ) , Good in-depth knowledge in Email Security
• Monitor and perform daily health check the Email security tool, highlight to customer when issues found, take the appropriate action
• Good Understanding in Configure and optimize policies, anti-spam, anti-malware .
• Solid understanding of email protocols ( SMTP , POP3 , IMAP)
• Analyzing Skll to find out the risk factor, providing suggestions to customers for implementing new rules and fine tuning the Existing rule
• Capable to work in 24/7 Shift
• Good understanding about the process and requirement of DMARC, DKIM and SPF records
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for email‑based security incidents and recommend improvements.
• Good Knowledge in the Email Security, Architectural design area and have also good knowledge in building the polices
• Good Knowledge on all the Email Security Components
• Good Understanding in Manage and optimize email filtering and anti‑phishing policies
• Good Understanding in Investigate spam, phishing, spoofing, impersonation attacks
• Experience in o365 Compliance & Governance area, Audit log investigations, eDiscovery / Advanced eDiscovery part
• A good knowledge in o365 Security by implementing advanced security controls, monitoring threats, conducting investigations,
