Job summary

PW (PhysicsWallah) is seeking an Email Marketing Manager (MarTech) to own email infrastructure, deliverability, and technical operations. You will manage ESP integrations, authentication, and performance optimization to ensure high inbox placement at scale.

The ideal candidate has hands-on ESP experience, deep knowledge of SPF/DKIM/DMARC, IP/domain management, and a data-driven approach to improve engagement while maintaining compliance with CAN-SPAM and GDPR where applicable.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience in Email Marketing, MarTech, or deliverability.
• Hands-on experience with ESPs such as SparkPost, SendGrid, Amazon SES, Mailgun, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of SPF, DKIM, DMARC, DNS, SMTP, IP/domain warm-up, sender reputation, and email authentication.
• Experience with email deliverability tools such as Google Postmaster Tools, Microsoft SNDS, MXToolbox, GlockApps, or Validity.
• Understanding of spam filters, ISP behavior, inbox placement, and email compliance (CAN-SPAM/GDPR).
• Basic knowledge of APIs, webhooks, HTML emails, and SQL.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end email infrastructure and integrations with ESPs and CRM platform
• Configure and maintain email authentication protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
• Manage dedicated/shared IPs, domain setup, IP/domain warm-up, and sender reputation
• Monitor email deliverability, inbox placement, bounce rates, spam complaints, and blacklist status
• Implement strategies to improve inbox placement and reduce spam rate
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams for ESP integrations, SMTP/API setup, and email automation
• Troubleshoot email delivery issues and ensure compliance with email best practice
• Analyse deliverability metrics and recommend improvements to maximise engagement
