Job summary

AppSquadz is seeking a proactive Email Marketing Executive to plan, execute, and optimize email campaigns that drive engagement, lead generation, and customer retention.

You will manage campaigns across platforms (Zoho Campaigns, Mailchimp, HubSpot, Brevo, Active Campaign), design segmentation and personalization, run A/B tests, monitor deliverability, and report performance to support growth in international markets.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in email or digital marketing.
• Hands-on with major email platforms.
• Knowledge of segmentation, personalization, and reporting.
• Basic HTML/CSS for templates is a plus.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Email Marketing Executive to plan, execute,

and optimize email marketing campaigns that drive engagement, lead generation, and customer

retention. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with email marketing platforms,

campaign automation, audience segmentation, and performance reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, schedule, and execute email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and promotional emails.
• Build and manage email automation workflows and drip campaigns.
• Must have experience of targeting and engaging with clients in the USA, Malaysia & Dubai market.
• Support various strategic programs via manual and triggered campaigns across the customer lifecycle including prospecting, win-back, nurturing, post-purchase, loyalty, retention, surveys, and transactional emails.
• Build effective target audiences and segments for every message to drive engagement and
• Use customer data such as web-behavior to drive the message and content personalization.
• Detailed knowledge of email regulations, best practices, and compliance internationally in various regulatory regimes (e.g., GDPR or CASL).
• Write compelling subject lines and email copy to improve open and click through rates.
• Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, content, CTAs, and send times.
• Monitor campaign performance and prepare weekly/monthly reports.
• Maintain email database hygiene by managing subscriptions, bounces, and inactive contacts.
• Ensure high email deliverability by following industry best practices.
• Work closely with the sales team to support lead nurturing initiatives.

Required Skills

• 2–3 years of experience in email marketing or digital marketing.
• Hands on experience with email marketing platforms such as Zoho Campaigns, Mailchimp, HubSpot, Brevo, or Active Campaign.
• Understanding of email automation, segmentation, and personalization.
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for email templates is an advantage.
• Strong copywriting and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Google Analytics and campaign reporting.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• Experience in B2B, SaaS, IT Services, Cloud, or Technology marketing is preferred.
• Email marketing or marketing automation certification is a plus.
