Job summary

Valeo in Chennai is seeking an engineering professional to execute design, validation, and compliance work following the Engineering discipline Development Plan. You will review internal and customer requirements and contribute to robust design aimed at economical targets.

The role covers simulations/coding/validation, calculations including worst-case/statistical and thermal studies, and participation in design reviews.

Responsibilities

• Perform activities in compliance with Engineering discipline Development Plan of his/her PG/PL
• Review Internal requirements, Customer Requirements, Specifications
• In charge of the robust design / validation in line with the economical targets
• Support technical architecture and standards assignments
• Follow Standardization rules
• Support design reviews, internal and with suppliers
• Complying With Engineering Disciplines Processes And Design Rules
• Perform or support Engineering discipline design simulations/coding/validation
• Perform or support Engineering discipline design calculations including worst case/statistical and support thermal studies
• Perform or support Engineering disciplines tests
• Management follow-up
• Reports the progress of his tasks
• Escalate risks
