Aslam Enterprises in Hyderabad designs sensing, control and connectivity hardware. We seek an engineer to design electronic schematics for sensing, control, power and connectivity, and to develop multi-layer PCB layouts using Altium, KiCad, or Eagle.
The role includes embedded firmware development in C/C++ for ESP32, STM32 and similar platforms, hardware bring-up, sensor integration (pressure, IMUs, load cells), and integration of BLE/Wi‑Fi plus common interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART).
Design and develop electronic schematics for sensing, control, power and connectivity systems.
Design multi-layer PCB layouts for sensor and control boards using Altium, KiCad, Eagle or equivalent tools.
Develop, test, debug and maintain embedded firmware using C/C++ for microcontrollers such as ESP32, STM32, Nordic or equivalent platforms.
Bring up new PCB revisions, validate hardware against schematic requirements, identify issues and implement design improvements.
Integrate pressure sensors, load cells, IMUs, temperature sensors and other relevant sensing technologies.
Implement and integrate wireless connectivity such as BLE and Wi-Fi along with relevant communication protocols.
Work with I2C, SPI, UART, ADC, GPIO and other common hardware interfaces.
Independently diagnose hardware and firmware issues using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters and other laboratory equipment.
Select electronic components considering functionality, cost, availability, lifecycle, reliability and long-term sourcing.
Coordinate PCB fabrication and assembly with vendors and review DFM feedback before production/prototyping.
Build, test and iterate electronic prototypes through multiple development cycles.
Incorporate reliability, safety, EMI/EMC awareness and design robustness into hardware and firmware development.
Work with the external reliability/test specialist on EMC pre-checks, design reviews and validation activities.
Implement appropriate power-management and low-power design practices where required.
Maintain accurate schematics, PCB files, BOMs, firmware architecture, test notes, revision history and technical documentation.
Work closely with mechanical, industrial design, software, product and external testing teams during product development.
