Job summary

A leading automotive supplier is looking for an engineering professional in Chennai. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the engineering development plan, reviewing internal and customer specifications, and validating robust designs. Responsibilities include supporting technical architecture and standards and participating in design reviews. Candidates should have a strong grasp of engineering processes and the ability to perform simulations and tests.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of engineering discipline processes and design rules.
• Experience with design validation in alignment with economic targets.
• Ability to perform design simulations, calculations, and tests.

Responsibilities

• Perform activities in compliance with Engineering discipline Development Plan.
• Review internal and customer requirement specifications.
• Support design reviews, both internal and with suppliers.
• Support technical architecture and standards assignments
• Follow Standardization rules
• Support design reviews, internal and with suppliers
• Perform or support Engineering discipline design simulations/coding/validation
• Perform or support Engineering discipline design calculations including worst case/statistical and support thermal studies
• Perform or support Engineering disciplines tests
• Reports the progress of his tasks
• Escalate risks

His/her scope could include: all or part of the design, integration, validation of blocks / product

Complying With Engineering Disciplines Processes And Design Rules
