Job summary

Valeo is seeking a skilled R&D Engineer in Electronics to join our global team in India. You will work on robust design and validation, aligning with customer requirements and engineering discipline processes.

You will participate in design reviews, simulations, thermal studies, and performance calculations, supporting project goals and environmental targets while collaborating across multi-cultural teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Engineering discipline Development Plan and Customer Requirements
• Lead robust design and validation in line with targets
• Support technical architecture and design reviews
• Perform simulations/coding/validation and thermal studies
• Manage tests and report progress; escalate risks

Accountable for :

• Perform activities in compliance with Engineering discipline Development Plan of his/her PG/PL Review Internal requirements, Customer Requirements, Specifications
• In charge of the robust design / validation in line with the economical targets
• Support technical architecture and standards assignments
• Follow Standardization rules
• Support design reviews, internal and with suppliers
• His/her scope could include: all or part of the design, integration, validation of blocks / product
• Complying with Engineering disciplines processes and Design Rules
• Perform or support Engineering discipline design simulations/coding/validation
• Perform or support Engineering discipline design calculations including worst case/statistical and support thermal studies
• Perform or support Engineering disciplines tests Management follow-up Reports the progress of his tasks Escalate risks
