Job summary

Cavalier Tool Design & Engineering Services is seeking an experienced Electrode Designer in Chennai / Lucknow. You will design precise electrode models for tooling and manufacturing and collaborate with the engineering team to ensure quality and production efficiency.

The role requires 5-8 years with Unigraphics/NX, knowledge of EDM, and experience designing moulds to North America standards. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years experience with Unigraphics/NX.
• Design medium & large size plastic injection moulds to North America standards.
• Familiarity with EROWA or similar tooling systems.
• Knowledge of EDM processes and plastic injection mold components.
• Willingness to develop and advance knowledge as industry and technology changes.
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well with others and independently, exhibiting teamwork skills with other engineers and designers.
• Diploma or Degree in Plastic Engineering / Mould Design / Tool & Die, CAD/CAM, Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Design is an asset.

About the Role

• To design and develop precise electrode models for tooling and manufacturing

• Extract the electrodes for medium and large size plastic injection moulds
• Advise supervises of project status, timing, resource availability and capability.
• Assist in establishing design completion dates and timelines.
