Job summary

Briscon Energy Private Limited is seeking an experienced Solar EPC Project Manager / Electrical Project professional to lead the execution of large-scale ground-mounted solar projects in Rajasthan and Gujarat.

The role will build and lead Briscon's project execution team, plan mobilization, supervise module, MMS/structure and electrical works, ensure safety and quality, coordinate with EPC/client, review drawings and BOQs, and drive on-time completion.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering degree or diploma required.
• Experience in utility-scale solar EPC project execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of utility-scale ground-mount solar EPC/subcontracting projects.
• Plan and supervise module installation teams and ensure productivity and quality targets.
• Supervise MMS/structure installation and coordinate civil/mechanical interfaces.
• Plan and execute DC works including string cabling and termination.
• Plan and supervise AC electrical works, cable laying and inverter integration.
• Coordinate HT/LT works, transformers and evacuation interfaces.
• Manage earthing, lightning protection and electrical safety requirements.
• Coordinate testing, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
• Prepare mobilization plans, manpower, materials, tools and equipment.
• Set daily/weekly productivity targets and monitor performance.
• Lead site engineers, supervisors, electricians, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with EPC Project Managers, QA/QC, HSE and client representatives.
• Review drawings, SLDs and BOQs.

Briscon Energy is seeking an experienced Solar EPC Project Manager / Electrical Project professional to lead execution of large-scale ground-mounted solar projects in Rajasthan and Gujarat. The selected person will progressively build and lead Briscon's project execution team and will be responsible for planning, mobilization, supervision, quality, safety, productivity and completion of assigned EPC/subcontracting packages.

The role covers solar module installation, MMS/structure installation, DC works, AC works, HT/LT electrical works, cable laying, earthing, testing and commissioning and coordination with the principal EPC/client.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead execution of utility-scale ground-mount solar EPC/subcontracting projects.
• Plan and supervise module installation teams and ensure productivity and quality targets.
• Supervise MMS/structure installation and coordinate civil/mechanical interfaces as required.
• Plan and execute DC works including string cabling, cable routing, termination and associated equipment.
• Plan and supervise AC electrical works, cable laying, termination and inverter/electrical integration.
• Coordinate HT/LT works, transformers, HT panels, evacuation interfaces and associated electrical systems as applicable to the scope.
• Manage earthing, lightning protection and electrical safety requirements.
• Coordinate testing, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
• Prepare project mobilization, manpower, material, tools, equipment and execution plans.
• Set daily and weekly productivity targets and monitor actual performance.
• Lead site engineers, supervisors, electricians, module-installation teams, subcontractors and labour teams.
• Coordinate with EPC Project Managers, Construction Managers, QA/QC, HSE, Procurement and client representatives.
• Review drawings, SLDs, BOQs, work fronts and technical specifications.
• Maintain daily progress reports, material reconciliation, work measurement and completion documentation.
• Identify execution risks, material shortages, access constraints and interface issues and **escalate** them promptly.
• Ensure work is executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality plans and safety procedures.
• Support estimation, manpower planning and technical evaluation of new subcontracting opportunities when required.

Preferred Technical Experience

• Utility-scale / ground-mounted solar projects, preferably 20 MW+ and ideally experience with 50 MW / 100 MW+ projects.
• Solar module installation and large manpower deployment.
• MMS / structure installation and site coordination.
• DC cable laying, stringing, termination and testing.
• Inverter and AC-side electrical works.
• LT/HT cable laying and termination.
• Transformer, HT panel, switchgear and associated electrical systems.
• Earthing and lightning protection.
• Testing and commissioning.
• Reading electrical drawings, SLDs and BOQs.
• Site planning, productivity measurement and project reporting.

Leadership & Site Management Expectations

• Ability to take responsibility for an entire execution package rather than only supervising individual activities.
• Ability to mobilize and manage large site manpower.
• Strong discipline in productivity, quality and safety.
• Ability to coordinate with large EPC organizations and work under demanding project schedules.
• Ability to resolve site-level technical and execution issues independently.
• Willingness to work at remote project locations, including Bikaner and other Rajasthan renewable-energy hubs.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical or related discipline.
• 03-05 years of experience preferred, with significant solar EPC/project-execution exposure.
• Candidates with proven utility-scale ground-mount solar execution experience will receive priority.
• Experience working with large EPC companies is highly desirable.
• Existing professional relationships within major EPC companies are an additional advantage, but technical execution capability is the primary selection criterion.
• Strong leadership, communication, reporting and problem-solving skills.
• Ready for extensive travel and long-duration project-site deployment.
